Liquidity Lockers V2 (legacy app)

On this page you will find everything you need to know about locking your liquidity with us.

Last updated 5 months ago

To understand what liquidity lockers are, first you have to be familiar with concepts of liquidity pools.

If you are not, we recommend watching .

What is a liquidity locker?

Developers listing their tokens on decentralized exchanges are granted LP tokens when they initiate a pool. These LP tokens, once in their possession, can be transferred like any other tokens on the blockchain they have been minted on, or bridged to another one.

A liquidity locker allows the developer to store these LP tokens in a smart contract, revoking his permission to move these LP from a start date to an end date. For a deeper dive into this topic, we recommend having a read of about liquidity locking.

We also recommend reading our medium article on , to explore more options of interacting with our lockers.

How to lock your LP?

Please make sure that:

  • DEX pair is created (on UniSwap, for example)

  • LP tokens/NFT you want to lock are held in a wallet you are currently connected with

First, you have to select the DEX your liquidity pool is on. For this example, we will select Uniswap V2 on Goerli testnet.

You will be taken to the screen presented below. If there are pairs already assigned to your address, they will be visible below the searchbar. If not, you will have to paste the address.

The next step is choosing the amount of LP tokens you want to lock and the unlock date. You can allow withdrawal of the LP tokens to another wallet, although you will not be able to do it using the one you are locking with anymore. If you have a referral address, you can enter it in the field displayed below.

Further down the page you will be able to see "Fee options". There is only one at the moment, so all you need to do from here is select "approve", then create a lock.

Note: LP tokens, once locked, cannot be unlocked before the unlock date. UNCX Network is a decentralized platform and will not unlock your tokens if you select a wrong date by mistake. Please, double-check everything before proceeding

After successfully locking your LP tokens, you will be taken to the screen presented below. As explained on the image, it might 15 to 20 minutes for the lock to be visible in our UI, so don't worry if it's not visible right away. Select the button on the bottom of the screen to access the lock page.

On the lock page, you can find all the information about your lock, such as how much of the liquidity is locked and the unlock date or expired locks.

How to withdraw your LP?

First, you have to select the DEX your liquidity pool is on. For this example, we will select Uniswap V2 on Goerli testnet.

You will be taken to the screen presented below. Select the "Edit / Withdraw" tab, visible on the image below.

If there are pairs already assigned to your address, they will be visible below the searchbar. If not, you will have to paste the address.

After selecting a pair, you will be able to withdraw your liquidity using the button presented below. Make sure you are using a wallet permitted to withdraw.

Advanced features

Another thing you can do using the withdrawal screen is editing your lock. We have implemented few unique features to give our customers more flexibility with their LP and locks.

Relock

UNCX lockers support relocks directly from the UI. Token developers do not need to withdraw the LP tokens to relock them. It can be done with 1 click from the above UI.

Transfer Ownership

Simply, choose a different address allowed to withdraw the locked LP tokens.

Increment Lock

This allows any token developer, already locking with us, to add more LP tokens for an existing lock. Simply approve and lock!

Split Lock

It is possible to split your lock in different sub-locks. You can find more information on the image above.

First, navigate to "services" tab in our UI or use . Select Liquidity Lockers.
